Authorizing User Consent to Third-party Apps in Office 365

Microsoft 365 has a global setting in the Microsoft Admin center to enable or disable third-party apps on a per-tenant basis.


This is located in the Microsoft Identity Admin Portal (aka Entra (Id), aka AzureAD).

Here's how to turn User consent to apps on or off.


In the Microsoft 365 admin center, navigate to the Identity Portal.


Search for "Consent". Select User Consent Settings.
