Alternate Installation Methods

Installing the Meeting Room 365 app for Android, iOS, or Amazon Fire tablets is fast and easy. You can simply search for the app in your respective region(s) App Store or Google Play, and follow the on-screen instructions.

However, in many scenarios, you may wish to customize your hardware setup. This article will link you to resources to explain this in more detail.

Using an MDM or Sideloading an APK

If you wish to use a Mobile Device Management platform to configure your app, you may wish to download the .APK (Android) directly. You can do so from this page:

Alternate APK

We have an Alternate APK package to enhance support for certain devices, including those with manufacturer quirks in the Android OS, and Samsung Knox support.

Using the Web App

You can configure any device with Kiosk Mode (such as Windows Kiosk Browser, the Raspberry Pi, Purpose-built Meeting Room display hardware, or custom hardware) to point to the web version of our app:

You can set this up with a fixed key if that is needed on your device.

Note: in these examples, YOURDISPLAYKEY is replaced with your display key, and should be lowercase.

Older Devices

We routinely support Android 4 and iOS 9 on older hardware, but this is limited to the v2 theme of the app. The v3 theme is not supported.

You can download the appropriate app from your respective app store(s), or use an older version of the app for Android from https://www.meetingroom365.com/apps/
